ABOUT NATALIE & GOOD NATURE STRATEGIES
|
Natalie Bailey has worked at the intersection of conservation, policy, and development for 25 years. She recently founded Good Nature Strategies, LLC to support nature-centered organizations with strategic planning, research, coalition building, and communications. She previously served as a Senior Biodiversity Advisor at the U.S. Agency for International Development's Center for Natural Environment, where she co-founded the Agency's One Health Working Group, led the Wild Meat Collaborative Learning Group, and supported project design and monitoring in sub-Saharan Africa. Prior to her time as a federal employee, she worked for coalitions of conservation NGOs focused on wildlife and landscapes in Africa.

Natalie has a Masters degree in Sustainable Development and Conservation Biology from University of Maryland and a BS in Biology from Rhodes College. In her spare time, she is training to become a Master Naturalist and is an active volunteer in her church, her local scout troop, and her community. She enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and spending time with her husband and college-aged son.
Why Good Nature Strategies?
The name describes the good nature I bring to my work, my belief that nature itself is good, and that a practical, strategic approach will work best.
